How to play on Teukoo: the complete beginner's guide
Create your account, pick a tournament, build your team, follow it live and collect your winnings: the whole journey of your first Teukoo tournament, step by step.

Heard about fantasy sports but not sure where to start? Good news: a Teukoo tournament takes just a few minutes to enter, and it all rests on one simple idea. You build a team of real players, and they score points for what they actually do during the match.
This guide takes you from creating your account to collecting your winnings.
Step 1: create your account
Three ways to sign up:
- with your email address and a password (at least 8 characters, including a letter and a number);
- with Google;
- with Telegram.
Sign-up is instant: no code to enter. You then choose your username (3 to 20 characters: letters, numbers and underscore), the one shown on the leaderboards.
Teukoo is for adults aged 18 and over only, and is not available in some countries.
Step 2: choose a tournament
On the home page, tournaments are grouped into slates: a selection of matches from the same league. For each tournament you can see:
- the matches included;
- the entry fee (or "Free");
- the number of entrants and places;
- the prize pool;
- the closing time.
Two main families:
- practice tournaments, free and without prizes, perfect for learning;
- paid tournaments, with a prize pool shared among the top finishers.
Our advice: start with a free tournament.
Step 3: build your team
This is the heart of the game. In football, you pick 11 players from the tournament's matches, with three rules:
- your team must fit within a 100-point budget (every player has a price);
- you can't pick more than 6 players from the same club;
- you must name a captain and a vice-captain.
In other sports, only the squad size and the per-club limit change: 8 players (max 4 per club) in basketball, 10 players (max 5 per club) in American football.
The captain, your biggest lever
Your captain's points are doubled (×2), your vice-captain's multiplied by 1.5. Choose them carefully: that's often where the leaderboard is decided.
Step 4: submit before entries close
When your team is ready, submit it. For a paid tournament, the entry fee is taken from your balance at that moment.
You can still edit your team (players, captain) until the tournament closes. Entries close 5 minutes before the tournament's first kick-off. After that, your team is locked.
Tip: official line-ups usually come out 20 to 45 minutes before the match, and Teukoo sends you a notification. Use it to check that your players are starting.
Step 5: follow it live
During the matches, the leaderboard refreshes every 30 seconds. You see your position, your points and each player's breakdown: goals, assists, tackles, saves… The full scoring system is on the Points page.
Step 6: results and winnings
After the last match, the tournament moves to "Results validation": the official statistics are checked before anyone is paid. Then the result becomes final and winnings are credited to your balance.
Three situations worth knowing:
- ties: tied teams share the prizes of the places they occupy;
- under-filled tournament: if it doesn't reach its minimum number of entrants when entries close, it is cancelled and fully refunded;
- guaranteed tournament: the advertised prize pool is paid even if the tournament isn't full.
